Bowls

Bowls that gather what matters.

From a single scoop of fruit to a generous shared meal, these forms bring a quiet sense of occasion.

The Pistachio Bowl

Sold

Pale pistachio green speckled with brown iron flecks, over a deep, glossy brown-black base. The two glazes meet in a clean line around the middle, and a ring of bare clay shows at the foot. Wide and deep with flared sides, it's built for mixing, serving, or a big salad on the table.

The Pond Ice Bowl

A wide, flared bowl in pale celadon, with a fine web of crackle running through the glaze inside like ice on a still pond. The exterior is soft and cloudy, and a thick rim gives it weight. Big enough to sit at the center of the table.

The Ember Set

Speckled oatmeal glaze over concentric throwing rings that ripple out from the center like a drop in still water. One edge is pinched into a lip that cradles the spoon handle, so the drips stay on the dish, not the counter.

The Tide Line Bowls

Two bowls in soft, pale aqua, each rimmed in a dark iron band that feathers down into the glaze like a tide line. Inside, the color warms to cream, with a hint of amber where the glazes meet. They nest together for storage and come apart for a pair of soups or salads.
